In The Beginning......

As I begin this blog I question myself;
    "Is this to share my thoughts with those who might stumble across it or does it serve as something greater?"
Now, I'll be the first to say that I am so fed up with the narcissistic mind set of people that I would cringe at the thought that I would contribute to the mass consumption of crap generated in the world. Yet, I am still so compelled to elaborate on a variety of subjects or pontificate, depending on your point of view. I would never attempt to impose my thoughts on someone else nor do I possess delusions of grandeur that I am some Rodes scholar. Matter of fact how many Rodes scholars would admit to misspelling "Rhodes" if they where not whom they presented themselves to be. 
  This is an attempt on my behalf to record my thoughts and if someone would care to comment or correct anything to be posted here now or in the future I welcome it with open arms. On second thought, NO, these are my thoughts and my views alone....you can share my views or get the hell off my blog. OK, let me apologize there. Like I said before I'm not so self serving that I can't listen to the opinions of others. Which takes me back to my point that I never really laid out, "To Whom Does This Serve".
  For the most part I start this very light hearted. I'm sure it will grow to be something more. I hope to enlighten others as well as myself with little truths and tid bits of facts while at the same time exorcise some of my own demons.
  So, I won't end my first post with the typical "Join me on my journey"......blachhhhhhhh!!!!!......cause that $h!t is lame and I hate those that go the cheesy route like that. Instead I leave you with one of my favorite lines from Woody Allen's Annie Hall:
"I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member."
